The Boat House, TTDI / My Darling Birthday Celebration ^^ - 9 Feb 07
Was scratching head to think of a place for my darling birthday, and after some research, especially after reading WMW's comments, we decided to go for the boat house.
We arrived at 8.15pm, it's not difficult to get to the place, parking wise might be some problem. But we are lucky that we got the parking just right in front of the restaurant. The place is busy and most of the tables are taken, i am glad i make a reservation the day before.
A warm welcome from a sweet lady (Ms. Adelyn Lim), we were then seated and start to browse thru the menu. The have a selection of wine list and bevarage drinks. For the menu, the have selection of western and asian food.
It tooks us a while to decide our order, we wanted to try the fried cempedak but it was sold out. (sob sob...)
We ordered Garlic bread, mussels with white wine cream sauce, the beef stuffed enoki, the beer battered fish & chips for hubby, and the alio olio scallop spaghetti for me ^^...

Check this out guys...
- The garlic bread was full of gralic and herbs, crispy too...
- The beef salad, um... it seems more like a main than a salad, i love enoki very much, so this is definitely my choice, but i felt that its a lil bit salty.
- For the mussels, its seems average for me.
- The scallop pasta is the star of the nite, its fulls of herbs & garlic, the 4 big scallops were so juicy, so sweet... yummy!!!
- Darling's Beer Battered fish seems normal to me, nothing to shout about.
- The food portion was big, in fact me and hubby couldnt finish out main, and we were too full til we have to skip the dessert.
- Total bill = RM135
Wonderful night. It's a nice place to dine in, yes... there're be next time ^^
P/s: According to Adelyn, they will be having some special menu for Valentines, if you are still scratching your head, give a try ^^
