She's Back... My Dear Celine has came back from states...
She will only be here for 3 weeks this time, so we are trying our best to company her eat everything that she missed a lot. We met up for dinner yesterday nite @ this steamboat restaurant in Pudu.

I've been to Hong La Qiao a couple of time, my tongue feel numb everytime i think of this place
-_-!!! But... i just cant resist the feeling :p

We arrived ard 7 plus evening, the restaurant was not very crowded. We were seated and as usual we begin to tick items that we want on a order form given by the waiteress.

We are serve with 2 plates of appetizer while waiting for the steamboat to be ready.
The Peanut and marinated papaya

I love the braised peanut a lot, its soft and fragrant, I love the papaya too, but i think it ll taste even better if they could make lil bit sour.

Some of the item we ordered for the steamboat,

Japanese TaoFu, Lamb Slices, Enoki mushroom (yummy), pork slices, fuzhuk, vege and etc.

It seems not very much for 5 of us... well ... we thought so, but we end up just nice and still have space for dessert...

We noticed the meat for this time is not as good as our previous visit. And also the soup is bit too salty to my liking. Service wise we also found that the waitress tends to be not so professional when serving us. We are suppose to be given towels after our meal, and that tray of cold towel was left on table til we call for bill. Instead for offer us the towel, they just clear the towel together with other dishes without offering to us.

Anyway, its still a wonderful dinner afterall...

P/S: Don't forget to order a beer for urself, steamboat and beer, simply the perfect match~~~

The watermelon was serve after we finished our meal... sweet...
